Position: Maintenance Director
Pay Range: $32,000-$37,000

Responsibilities
Demonstrate mechanical ability and/or self‑teaching capability to work on equipment such as washer/compressors, dryers, refrigeration and heating units, ice machines, minor plumbing and electrical difficulties, carpentry, and painting.
Electrical duties: troubleshoot, identify problems, and obtain materials to fully repair electrical issues including wall switches, lighting, cover plates, receptacles, wiring, resident call systems, control devices, laundry, and kitchen equipment.
Structural duties: plan, order, and install cabinets; repair or replace sheetrock, plywood, and structural materials.
Painting duties: plan, order, and perform interior/exterior painting throughout the complex, properly dispose of materials per EPA guidelines.
Plumbing duties: plan, order, and perform minor plumbing repairs such as faucets, showers, drains, and other related problems.
Conduct daily inspection of the property’s outdoors and correct items to ensure the property is tour‑ready.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prefer two (2) years experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.
Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care.
Ability to work with seniors and interact patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.
Flexible, adaptable, able to respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks.
Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
Compliance with COVID‑19 safety protocols as required.
