Axon
Join Axon and be a Force for Good. At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast‑paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Your Impact Axon is looking for a highly analytical, data‑driven strategist to join our Sales Strategy & Enablement team and accelerate growth across our US Public Sector business. Our Sales organization is sharp, adaptable, and mission‑driven — partnering with public safety agencies nationwide to advance Axon’s integrated technology ecosystem in service of protecting life, capturing truth, and accelerating justice.
In this role, you’ll shape how Axon drives double‑digit year‑over‑year growth across the US Public Sector — delivering insights, strategic recommendations, and operational rigor to Regional VPs and Directors. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Strategy & Enablement and operate as a trusted advisor to Public Sector leadership, helping define and execute the strategies that will grow the impact of our technology.
This is a unique opportunity to own high‑visibility analytical work, influence commercial outcomes, and guide decision‑making across one of Axon’s most critical business segments. The role is an individual contributor position with potential to grow into future leadership opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Develop Strategic Insights and Enable Growth: Serve as the primary insights partner to US Public Sector market leaders—delivering data‑backed recommendations on pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, territory performance, and growth levers. Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities that directly influence double‑digit YoY bookings growth.
Shape Sales Strategy and Guide Market Expansion: Refine go‑to‑market strategies across regions, customer types, and product categories. Analyze competitive dynamics, customer trends, agency procurement behavior, and market shifts to guide strategic choices.
Enhance Performance Analytics and Improve Forecasting: Build models to analyze bookings, pipeline, rep productivity, and coverage efficiency. Partner with Sales leadership to improve forecast predictability and unify performance reporting across Public Sector.
Size Opportunities and Launch High‑Impact Growth Plays: Quantify whitespace, evaluate new market entry opportunities, and support rollout of new product and bundling strategies tailored for Public Safety agencies. Translate insights into actionable recommendations, pilot proposals, and execution plans.
Drive Pricing Strategy and Strengthen Deal Execution: Analyze pricing, discounting trends, and win/loss drivers across Public Sector deals. Support development of value‑based pricing narratives aligned to agency needs and procurement dynamics.
Mentor Team Members and Elevate Analytical Rigor: Support and coach junior team members to strengthen team capabilities and analytical excellence. Champion a culture of curiosity, precision, and continuous improvement.
