Job Opening: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Detroit, MI
Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a reputable hospital in Detroit, Michigan! The facility is well-equipped and aims to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide anesthesia coverage at the hospital, starting as soon as credentialed.
- Work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Engage in a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
- Utilize Cerner as the documentation system.
- Operate under a supervision model with surgical teams.
- Perform surgical cases ranging from 7 to 20 per day based on case type.
- Handle pain management cases that range from 0 to 10 per day.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, MDAs, RNs, and scrub techs.
- Deliver care to a patient demographic from pediatric to geriatric, excluding neonates.
- Conduct general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Board Certified CRNA - Required
- Active Michigan nursing license - Required
- Clean background check - Required
- ACLS & BLS certification through AHA - Required
- Experience with pediatric cases - Required
- Local providers preferred but will consider travel providers with included travel expenses.
- Certification from NBCRNA
- Active Michigan State License
