The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound orders, managing inventory control, and overseeing Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operators. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth as BCI Reno expands into a full‑scale manufacturing facility by 2026.

Position Purpose

The Warehouse Manager will coordinate shipping and receiving operations, maintain inventory accuracy, collaborate with customer service and production, monitor KPIs, implement 5S and lean practices, develop SOPs, and supervise PIT operators and warehouse associates.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Correspond with customers and sales using provided tools.
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct routine cycle counts and audits.
• Collaborate with customer service and production teams to fulfill customer orders.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and shipping timelines.
• Implement and maintain 5S and lean warehouse practices.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• Assist in developing SOPs as the site scales into manufacturing.
• Supervise, train, and schedule PIT operators and warehouse associates.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Full‑time role in a manufacturing plant/warehouse setting.

Skill Set

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills.

Qualifications Desired

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving operations, ideally in manufacturing or packaging.
• Prior experience supervising warehouse teams or PIT operators.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/WMS).
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a warehouse environment.
• PIT certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
