Are you a seasoned Direct-to-Garment (DTG) print specialist looking for a full-time role that blends high-end garment printing with fine art production?
theprintspace is a global leader in fine art and photographic printing, and our US operations in Brooklyn, Dumbo are growing at over 100% year-on-year. We need a dedicated, detail-oriented specialist for our DTG offering and support our core print studio.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead DTG: Take ownership of our DTG printing workflow, ensuring quality on every garment, from setup to finishing.
- Support Fine Art: Work hands-on to assist the team with Giclée, fine art printing helping to manage large-format printers and quality checks.
- Drive Quality: Ensure every printed product, whether paper or garment, meets our renowned quality standards for artists and fast-growing social commerce brands.
- Be a Key Player: Your work will directly impact the speed, quality, and success of our production team.
We’re looking for someone who brings
- 2-3 Years of Direct DTG Experience: You know DTG machines, maintenance, and garment prep inside and out.
- Knowledge of Epson DTG printers and Schulze pretreaters is a plus.
- A "Can-Do" Attitude: You thrive in a fast-moving environment and step up when production demands are high.
- Precision and Detail: You have an exceptional eye for color, fabric types, and print placement.
- Operational Thinking: You enjoy streamlining processes and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.
- Experience in print production is essential for this role.
