Senior Web Application Developer
with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have the opportunity to: Modernize and maintain web applications for scalability and performance Write modular code in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Refactor legacy code to reduce debt and improve readability Build dashboards, workflows, and visualizations for data-driven applications Optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance and security Define and deliver scalable solutions with stakeholders Work in Agile (Scrum, XP, Kanban) environments Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers Provide actionable reports and analytics for informed decisions Qualifications
Active TS clearance
w/SCI eligibility Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field ( or equivalent years of relevant experience ) 8-10 years of relevant experience Active
Security+ CE
certificate
or
ability to obtain Security+ CE certification within 90 days of hire Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and SQL Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs Experience with Git or other version control systems Ability to analyze, refactor, and improve legacy applications Familiarity with Linux (RHEL) administration and update management Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or XP methodologies NOTE : U.S. Citizenship is required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency. The salary range for this position is USD $108,100.00/Yr. - USD $180,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
