Location: Open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. Travel: Long-term, full-time relocation to project sites in Oregon, Texas, Indiana, Iowa, Virginia, and Washington D.C. (company paid) Industry: Mission Critical / Data Centers / Large-Scale Commercial Compensation: Competitive base + 10% travel premium + $3,500/month per diem + relocation package A national general contractor is hiring a Senior Traveling Project Manager to support the execution of billion-dollar mission critical construction projects across the U.S. In this role, you’ll oversee significant scopes of work on complex, high-visibility jobs—collaborating closely with Superintendents, Executives, and peer PMs onsite.This is a true traveling role: candidates must have a consistent background relocating to long-term project sites (12–24 months), managing field operations, subcontractor coordination, and client communication directly from the jobsite.

Key Responsibilities Lead major scopes within mission critical construction projects ranging from $500M to $3B+ Interface with owners, designers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the full project lifecycle Manage schedule, budget, documentation, and quality for your assigned areas Own field-level issue resolution, change management, and closeout Leverage Procore as your central project management tool (required) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar 8+ years of commercial construction experience; strong preference for mission critical, data center, healthcare, or life sciences builds Demonstrated success as a traveling Senior PM, with long-term, field-based assignments Strong technical knowledge, financial acumen, and team leadership Proficiency in Procore; experience with P6, Bluebeam, or BIM is a plus
