Job Description

Short Description: T002 .NET Developer – Senior. Only local candidates to the DMV region are eligible. Hybrid position requires on‑site attendance 3 days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Service‑oriented mindset with strong ownership of assigned issues.
• Manage and resolve tickets within SLA requirements.
• Maintain communication with technology customers, providing status updates.
• Initiate and perform changes on production systems and proactively unresolvable issues.
• Work closely with clients and district agencies to define needs, analyze problems, and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• In‑depth knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience building web applications (MVC, Razor Pages).
• Proficiency with ORM for database interactions.
• Strong C#.NET skills.
• SQL expertise (SQL Server).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in Visual Studio and GitHub.
• Ability to enhance existing systems by creating action plans and identifying improvement areas.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Understanding of the full application lifecycle.
• Effective communication with clients and senior management.
• Knowledge of system‑level design and modeling concepts.
• Strong documentation and basic unit‑testing skills.
• Collaborate with development teams, users, and business analysts to analyze complex problems and define solutions.
• Solid understanding of web architecture, object‑oriented design, and relational database design.
• 8+ years of experience across the above domain.
• Relevant certification(s) preferred.

Technical Skills

• C#.NET, MVC, Razor Pages, SQL, jQuery, JavaScript.
• SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Developer, Visual Studio, GitHub, iText.
• RESTful API integration, Azure, Agile methodology.
