Macro Pros is seeking an OT Architect to lead the design and implementation of integrated architectures that bridge Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). We’re looking for a strategic thinker with hands‑on experience in IT‑OT platforms, engineering applications, secure data management, cybersecurity, and the ability to communicate effectively across business, technical, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and apply best practices in OT cybersecurity and solutions architecture across internal and external client engagements.
- Lead the design of advanced IT/OT architectures and modernization strategies.
- Develop IT/OT Strategy and Architecture service artifacts, including guides, templates, processes, standards, procedures, checklists, models, accelerators, and proposal materials.
- Apply strong security architecture principles, ensuring compliance with federal and industry regulations and standards.
- Bring hands‑on experience with cloud solutions, cybersecurity, industrial control systems, and large‑scale system integration.
- Provide consulting, implementation, and ongoing support throughout the plan‑build‑operate lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and recommend emerging technologies aligned with client needs.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across IT/OT capabilities, architecture practices, and solution delivery.
Requirements
- 10 years of cybersecurity experience.
- 5 years of experience supporting U.S. federal government A&A/ATO processes.
- Strong background in Security Control Assessments and federal security documentation.
- Hands‑on experience with OT/ICS systems, including OT overlays, SCADA, and industrial environments.
- Experience with contingency planning, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and Incident Response (IR) plans.
- Ability to tailor risk assessment approaches based on stakeholder expertise and environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with executives, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with High Value Assets, CSAM, and NIST 800-82. r.3
- Excellent communication skills – this is a customer‑facing role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
- CISA certification
- Must currently reside in the Washington, DC metro area and able to work on‑site in Bethesda three days per week.
- Ability to pass a federal background check (U.S. citizenship required; no felony arrest record) and obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
