We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment in Richland, WA. This role is focused on inpatient care and includes rounding and night call. Providers should be available for a 7-on/7-off schedule, with a preference for at least two full weeks per month. Overtime is available after 12 hours per day.
Additional Information
- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage
- Daily rounding from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by night call
- Respond to consults and manage patient care during call hours (20-minute response time required)
- Work collaboratively with a support team that includes 3 APPs
- Participate in both routine and acute cardiac care, including consultative services
- Inpatient Cardiology
- Echocardiography
- TEE (Transesophageal Echo)
- STEMI management
- Non-invasive and diagnostic invasive cardiology
- Nuclear cardiology
- PA catheter placement
- Beeper call with 20-minute response time
- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (Daily Inpatient Rounding)
- Night call coverage after shift (Beepers Provided)
- Overtime paid after 12 hours/day
- Preferred commitment: At least two full weeks per month
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Board Certification in Cardiology (Required)
- Active WA state medical license or IMLC eligibility (Required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (Required)
- Fellowship in Cardiology (Preferred)
- Minimum 90-day credentialing timeframe please plan accordingly

Stroke Certified Facility (Trauma Level 2)
No teaching or APP supervision required
