Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is recruiting a Post-Acute Care Physician to join our employed medical group providing care in Rehab, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Facilities in Sarasota County.

We are located in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida, on the West Coast of Florida and only minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, Monday Friday
  • Responsible for patients primary care at 1 or 2 locations
  • Manageable patient census
  • Joining a team of three (2) physicians and three (3) Nurse Practitioners
  • Equitable evening and weekend call (no on-site required)
  • Teaching opportunities available for Medical Students and Internal Medicine Residents
  • Administrative support

Position Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatrics Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
  • Active or eligible for Florida medical license.
  • Experience in Post-Acute Care preferred.
  • Post-Acute and Long-Term Medicine Certified Medical Director Certification preferred or in pursuit of.
