Sr Product Manager – Technical, Kuiper Government Solutions Join Amazon’s Kuiper Government Solutions team as a Senior Product Manager focused on satellite broadband services for United States and allied government customers. Overview Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. The Government Solutions arm (KGS) delivers high‑speed, low‑latency, and secure satellite broadband services to U.S. and allied government customers. Key Responsibilities Define and price KGS products, performing pricing analysis, profitability analysis, and competitor pricing analysis. Write product roadmaps, product description documents, and engineering requirements documents for product families. Develop product sheets and define packaging of Kuiper services to meet the requirements of multiple government customers. Create detailed product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of specific customer verticals (local, state, federal, DoD, intelligence community), including use‑case prioritization and feature definition. Work with leadership to set the customer strategy and make high‑judgment trade‑offs between features and speed‑to‑launch. Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution, collaborating with business development, engineering, sales, finance, operations, and international teams. Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success. Research and identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of customers. Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. Security Clearance Requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of experience delivering features and managing trade‑offs of a product. 5+ years of experience in satellite communications services pricing. 5+ years of experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition. Preferred Qualifications Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
