Job Title Penetration Tester, Senior Job Number R0229490 LocationSan Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area Summary As a seasoned cyber professional, you understand adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures and can apply this knowledge to shape strategy and mitigate critical vulnerabilities. At Booz Allen, you will tell the story that informs some of our nation’s most far-reaching cybersecurity decisions. Responsibilities Lead a team focused on helping clients solve complex problems using tools such as Advana, Splunk, Carbon Black, Tenable, EDR platforms, and MYSP. Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and ongoing threat monitoring. Work with multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and deliver actionable recommendations. Oversee security environment monitoring and identify gaps by viewing systems through an adversary mindset. Monitor network environments for emerging threats, analyze VOlt reports, and support damage assessment efforts. Qualifications 7+ years of experience with cyber penetration testing or developing risk and threat mitigation plans 7+ years of experience operating in Linux, Windows, and virtual platforms 7+ years of experience with computer attack methods and system exploitation techniques 7+ years of experience leveraging adversarial tactics to conduct hands‑on security testing 7+ years of experience performing network security analysis, including software or traffic analysis TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or IT DoD 8140 baseline Level II Certification (Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or DoD Cyber Workforce Framework) Nice to Have Experience manually auditing source code (Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Rust, C) to find security issues Knowledge of tools, tactics, and techniques targeting AI systems and ecosystems Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Certifications: CEH, OSCP, CPTS, EJPT, GPEN, GIAC Cloud Penetration Tester Clearance Applicants must meet TS/SCI clearance requirements and undergo a security investigation. Compensation Projected salary range: $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
