Worker will be required to perform various job duties under SOC 45-2091 Agriculture Equipment Operators such as: fueling the plane by connecting and disconnecting fuel hose to and from the airplane; mixing chemicals, pesticides, fertilizer, water, and other inputs; reading and understanding a load ticket; loading the plane by connecting and disconnecting load hose to and from plane; loading plane with fertilizer by driving and operating loader truck; cleaning all equipment daily; mowing airstrips; cleaning work areas and maintaining ground and weed growth; maintaining cleanliness in hanger/load out areas; recording information about crops, such as pesticide use; loading and unloading materials manually or by use of other equipment; loading and unloading crops, manually or using conveyors, forklifts, or transfer augers; mixing specified materials or chemicals, and dumping solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; irrigating soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintaining ditches or pipes and pumps; driving and operating farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops; speaking and understanding English. Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.
