About the Role As a Senior Technical Recruiter at GlossGenius, you'll be the architect of our engineering future during a period of monumental growth. We are scaling our Engineering organization significantly, and you will be at the forefront of this transformation. You will own the full-lifecycle recruitment process for roles across our engineering pillars, but your scope will be far broader. This is a high-visibility, strategic role where you will partner directly with Engineering and Executive Leadership. Your influence will be critical as you help define and execute the strategy for hiring both top-tier individual contributors and the foundational Engineering Leaders who will guide our teams into the next phase of scale. You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting. This role can be based in either NYC or the SF-Bay Area. What You’ll Do Run an efficient, high-touch, full-lifecycle recruiting process for complex and senior searches, acting as a crucial engine for our team expansion Own sourcing for a variety of roles which will include talent mapping, market research, referral generation, and other creative strategies to find stellar technical talent that can operate at scale across NYC, SF, and Toronto Leverage tools like Greenhouse and Gem to track candidate progress, resurface existing talent, and ensure high-quality data integrity Manage stakeholder relationships, drive alignment on priorities, and leverage data to influence decision-making and strategy Promote GlossGenius’ culture and values to attract top talent and increase the company's employer brand awareness Maintain a strong pulse on the technical talent market and provide insights on competitive hiring trends Proactively integrate AI tools and intelligent automation into your daily workflow to maximize efficiency What We're Looking For 5+ years of recruiting experience with at least 2+ years of technical recruiting experience at a startup Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-urgency environments, maintaining attention to detail and quality A self-starter with experience taking projects from 0-1 with little oversight and ability to articulate the why's and how's in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Clear track record of success with hiring senior/staff+ engineering talent Ability to effectively influence engineering leaders to shape hiring strategies Proven experience with complex candidate closes Analytical thinker who understands how to utilize pipeline metrics to inform recruiting strategies and identify bottlenecks Customer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills to handle all levels within an organization, and a track record of providing a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers Flexible PTO Competitive health & dental insurance options, with premiums partially covered by GG Fertility and adoption benefits via Carrot and Kindbody Generous, fully-paid parental leave policy 401k benefit - employees are eligible to contribute starting day 1 of employment Professional Development - employees receive a yearly stipend for approved learning and educational-related expenses Dependent Care FSA Home office support Team Bonding opportunities - as a distributed team, being able to build meaningful bonds both virtually and in person is incredibly important to us! We are constantly evaluating how we accomplish this and currently, teams are given opportunities to gather in person throughout the year The starting base salary for this role in New York and San Francisco is between $150,000 and $185,000 target plus equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
