Responsibilities
Provide executive‑level assistance for the Research Institute for Tactical Autonomy (RITA) consortium and support a complex, highly classified project.
Collaborate closely with Executive Management; protect and compile technical, financial, and other project data using database programs for reports or presentation materials.
Maintain tactical responsibility for tracking project financials.
Make appointments, travel arrangements, and meeting arrangements; coordinate activities between executive management, customers, and outside parties.
Provide administrative assistance such as drafting memos and preparing communications on behalf of the Executive Director.
Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering when necessary.
Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate department.
Manage the executive’s calendar, prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) with at least 2 years of administrative experience or 7‑year equivalent work experience after high school.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms.
U.S. citizen required due to export control laws and regulations.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and perform in a professional manner.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex fiscal and budgetary processes to lay persons and deliver public presentations.
Leadership skills with ability to delegate tasks and manage cross‑functional teams.
Problem‑solving and decision‑making; proactive and self‑directed; interpersonal skills.
Expected Pay Range: $62,188 - $68,407.
