Freemont Yardley Search is hiring: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) (Indianapo

Work Hours: Mon-Thurs 12PM-8:30 PM, Fridays 8-4:30

Duties

• Install, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment (i.e. Grease bearings, change belts, change oil, perform inspections, clean equipment).
• Support production workers during routine preventative maintenance activities.
• Dismantle machinery to remove or replace defective parts.
• Utilize equipment and supplies needed to repair equipment per OEM standards.
• Repair facility and building items as needed.
• Identify complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems.
• Locates sources of problems by observing machinery in operation.
• Utilize tools to isolate malfunctioning equipment (ex. Multimeter, tachometer, calipers, etc.)
• Document all work performed into the Company CMMS.
• Complete end-of-shift reports.
• Order replacement parts.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience maintaining/repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Solid communication skills (English a must, Spanish a plus).
• Able to work on heights and/or climb several flights of stairs (5+ stories) on a daily if basis.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
