We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join the team.As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating manual machine tools to manufacture, modify, and repair components used in progressive stamping dies and tooling assemblies. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards of accuracy and durability our customers expect.Pay: $18/hr plus depending on experience. Shift Details: 7:00AM - 4:00PM Requirements: Operate manual lathes, mills, and surface grinders to machine precision components. Read and interpret blueprints. Perform setup, adjustment, and tooling changes on manual machines. Work with hardened steels, tool steels, and specialty metals used in stamping tools. Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, comparators) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. Assist toolmakers in the building, modification, and repair of dies and fixtures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Collaborate with engineering, EDM, and stamping departments.
