Are you a detailed credentialing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment? We're looking for a Credentialing Specialist who brings expertise, initiative, and a proactive mindset to join our growing team. If you have hands-on experience credentialing medical staff and providers across multiple hospitals and health systems—and can manage complex processes with minimal supervision—we want to hear from you.
Note: This is not a billing or provider enrollment role. We're looking specifically for experience in provider credentialing within hospitals or health systems.
What You'll Do:

  • Lead the full-cycle credentialing process for physicians and advanced practice providers across multiple hospitals and health systems.
  • Submit and track applications and supporting documents, ensuring everything is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Perform primary source verifications to validate credentials with precision.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, maintaining clear, professional communication at all times.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital, payer, and regulatory standards—including NCQA and The Joint Commission.
  • Update and manage CAQH profiles and other credentialing databases regularly.
  • Track application status and resolve issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Proactively monitor deadlines for licensure, certification, and privileges, ensuring timely renewals.
  • Balance multiple priorities, adapt to shifting demands, and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to ensure no credentialing task falls through the cracks.
What You Bring:
  • Strong working knowledge of hospital medical staff credentialing processes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and apply credentialing requirements across various systems with minimal direction.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with stakeholders over the phone and in writing.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, organizational strength, and follow-through.
  • Professionalism, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience credentialing across multiple health systems or within a complex healthcare organization.
  • Familiarity with medical staff bylaws, NCQA standards, or The Joint Commission requirements.
  • Proficiency with credentialing software, CAQH, and healthcare databases.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and collaborative spirit.

Why Join Us:
You'll be part of a dedicated team that values quality, accuracy, and proactive thinking. We offer a collaborative culture where your expertise is respected, and your contributions make a direct impact on the healthcare professionals we support.
