As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring with personalized instruction to individual students. Accept on-demand tutoring requests and respond to student needs as they arise. Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Invoice for tutoring sessions; we handle payments and determine scheduling flexibility. What We Look For In a Tutor (Qualifications)
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in HESI and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr. Earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely via our platform with no commuting. About Varsity Tutors
