Clinical Pharmacist Manager – University of Washington
Full‑Time / 40 hours per week – Day Shift. This position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and licensure in Washington. ASHP‑accredited residency preferred and 3‑5 years of clinical pharmacist experience desired.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily activities of clinical pharmacists and provide direct supervision of assigned staff.
Develop and maintain practice standards for inpatient and ambulatory clinical pharmacist services.
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and evaluating pharmacy services.
Maintain indices of clinical competence for clinical pharmacists.
Coordinate Pharmacy input in care pathways and treatment protocols.
Conduct and assist in recruitment of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy staff for the programs.
Coordinate pharmacist involvement in drug cost savings and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in Washington.
ASHP‑accredited residency preferred.
Three to five years of experience as a clinical pharmacist preferred.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Legal Requirement State of Washington Pharmacist License.
Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $192,000.00 – $240,000.00 annual.
