Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide compassionate, high‑quality care that impacts patients' wellbeing and recovery. You will leverage expertise to deliver individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform procedures, and implement patient care plans. Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to optimal patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities include:
Adhering to department and hospital policies, safety, risk management, and regulatory standards.
Administering, overseeing, and documenting medication administration per practitioner orders and hospital policy.
Assessing patients for physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs; gathering data, implementing interventions, evaluating outcomes, and planning care.
Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and competence in communication and care provision.
Engaging in professional growth opportunities and meeting mandatory deadlines.
Documenting care delivered and patient status using the nursing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of physician orders.
Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
New graduate or RN without ED or critical care experience and successful completion of the ED residency program.
Registered Nurse license in WA upon hire.
Basic Life Support – CPR upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 12 months.
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months.
Trauma Nurse Core Course within 12 months.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 12 months.
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing with at least one year of related acute care experience.
Previous ED experience within the last 2 years.
Critical care experience within the last 2 years.
Certified Emergency Nurse upon hire.
