Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position in an adult, high-acuity setting requiring a current MA RN license and recent ICU or acute care experience.
Responsibilities
Serve in an 18-bed adult Trauma ICU specializing in medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and critically ill trauma cases
Work schedule is a rotating 36‑hour per week with an even split of day and night shifts
Every other weekend and every other holiday work required
Epic EMR system is used on the unit
The unit features a large multidisciplinary team providing care for high‑complexity, critically ill patients
Flu vaccine is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
No validated parking; public parking or transportation is necessary for Boston‑based locations
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; local rate adjustments apply
Requirements
Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
Current BLS certification from AHA is required
Minimum 2 years recent acute care inpatient or current ICU nursing experience required
At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
