Salesforce Platform Technical Lead – OMS
SharkNinja is seeking an experienced Digital Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our Order Management and Fulfillment Services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our end-to-end order processing and fulfillment operations are streamlined, scalable, and aligned with customer expectations. You will manage the digital tools and platforms that support order tracking, inventory management, shipping, and delivery, ensuring a seamless and efficient post‑purchase experience.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of supply chain logistics, e‑commerce operations, and digital product management. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to drive innovation in how orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision: Assist with architecture and lead the technical delivery of Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) and Omnichannel Inventory implementations.
Design and manage integrations between Salesforce clouds (Commerce, OMS, Service, Data) and third‑party systems such as ERP, WMS, and middleware platforms (Oracle OIC).
Ensure that order fulfillment solutions are optimized for various sales channels, including direct‑to‑consumer (D2C), B2B, and marketplaces.
Develop and customize Salesforce platform components, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and integration APIs.
Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure that digital order management solutions support efficient fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery.
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the current order management and fulfillment processes and propose solutions to address them.
Support testing efforts, including SIT, UAT, and performance testing, to ensure solutions meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order processing times, shipping accuracy, fulfillment speed, and customer satisfaction.
Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and improve order management workflows and fulfillment operations.
Ensure that order management and fulfillment solutions comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards (e.g., tax, customs, and data privacy regulations).
Introduce innovative technologies and methods, such as automated warehousing, advanced shipping options, and real‑time inventory syncing, to enhance fulfillment efficiency.
Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, code quality, and deployment standards.
Champion new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve development and delivery processes.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in Salesforce development and architecture, with at least 3 years focused on Order Management and Omnichannel Inventory solutions.
Proven expertise in Salesforce OMS features including order orchestration, inventory reservations, sourcing rules, and fulfillment automation.
Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce platform technologies: Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and Platform Events.
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and middleware platforms (Boomi, Oracle OIC).
Solid understanding of omnichannel commerce concepts such as ship‑from‑store, endless aisle, and available‑to‑promise (ATP) inventory.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments (Copado, Salesforce CLI).
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Self‑starter with motivation and diligence to drive towards results.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Salary and Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $190,530—$232,870 USD.
