The Warehouse Manager is accountable for the Market Center’s product inventory, purchasing, receiving, warehouse processes, and distribution of products through the execution of standard operational policies and procedures. The role manages the warehouse team by coordinating, coaching, and overseeing performance management. It achieves financial objectives by managing key metrics, identifying opportunities, and developing action plans for improvement. The manager also ensures prompt, pleasant, and complete service to internal and external contacts needing product or information and provides safety leadership in the Market Center.

Job Responsibilities

Direct in‑bound and out‑bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of products.

Track, reconcile, and order product inventories for the Market Center to effectively manage out‑of‑stock, out‑of‑date products, and weeks‑on‑hand to fulfill client needs.

Communicate with affected managers and frontline personnel regarding any voids, delays or other product changes that may affect client deliveries and discuss alternative product needs where required.

Communicate with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment.

Manage warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates, and pulls product and ensures that work is completed using safe practices.

Participate in the hiring process for the warehouse team.

Provide training, coaching and performance management for each team member.

Monitor workflow and ensure proper inventories are pulled for daily routes.

Supervise the completion of all daily warehouse work.

Adapt to changing job duties without formal notice as required to meet commitments.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or related operations.

Prior experience with direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and developing talent.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Excellent organizational, time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.
