Business Analyst / Sales Operations Analyst Job Title: Business Analyst / Sales Operations Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay: $150k-$180k + Additional incentives/benefits

About the job: This role supports a major semiconductor company based in San Jose. Candidates should bring prior experience in the semiconductor industry, along with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related role

Demonstrates strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); BI tools a plus

Understands demand management, order fulfillment, and supply chain processes

Communicates effectively across Sales, Operations, and Finance teams

Pays close attention to detail and maintains process discipline under tight deadlines

Works with integrity, handling sensitive and confidential information

Is proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven with a strong work ethic

Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)

Has strong revenue reporting and sales/financial analysis skills

What you’ll do:

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support quarterly and annual revenue planning

Track and analyze global revenue and bookings against forecasts

Support corporate reporting and participate in bi-monthly business reviews with sales leadership

Design and implement sales reports in coordination with IT and business users

Perform ad hoc data analyses for bookings and revenue scenario modeling

Create and maintain monthly gap reports for Sales review

Manage pull-in requests, expedites, and provide timely updates to Sales on SSD status

Monitor orders not meeting customer request dates, tracking forecast gaps and lead times

Partner with Global Operations on build plans, shortfall analysis, and supportability

Assist Sales in managing product wind-down demand to avoid exposure

Support pricing activities and ensure compliance
