About the Role We’re looking for a
hands‑on General Manager
to run and grow an exterior services business serving both residential and commercial customers across the Nashville area. While the business includes residential work, a meaningful portion involves
commercial and multi‑day projects , making prior commercial experience essential.
This role is for someone who leads by example—supporting the team, setting clear expectations, and ensuring crews, equipment, and customers are all taken care of. The owner is engaged and accessible, but the General Manager is responsible for the daily health of the operation and for helping the business grow through strong execution and relationships.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Overseeing all day‑to‑day field operations and service delivery
Hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and—when necessary—terminating crews
Planning and managing
larger commercial and multi‑day jobs , while maintaining strong residential execution
Managing trucks, trailers, pressure washers, soft wash systems, and other equipment to ensure everything is safe, reliable, and job‑ready
Managing and strengthening
customer and client relationships , including commercial accounts
Serving as a primary point of contact for key clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Identifying opportunities to
grow existing accounts
and support new business through operational excellence
Using the
CRM
to manage scheduling, job flow, communication, and follow‑up
Setting the tone for professionalism, safety, and customer experience
Working closely with the owner to improve systems, efficiency, margins, and scalability
Required Experience & Skills
Prior management experience
leading field crews
Commercial services experience
(required)
Experience hiring, managing, and terminating employees
Hands‑on responsibility for
fleet and equipment management
Strong working knowledge of
CRMs
and job management systems
Proven ability to
project manage larger commercial jobs
from planning through completion
Experience interacting directly with customers and commercial clients
Clear communicator who can represent the company professionally
Preferred Experience
Exterior cleaning (pressure washing, soft washing, window cleaning, roof washing, etc.)
Facilities services, construction, or property services background
Experience maintaining long‑term commercial client relationships
