Role As a Senior Data Scientist at SentiLink, you will build our core products: models that identify fraudsters and advance our growing suite of financial‑risk solutions. You will be a technically capable, domain‑savvy owner of projects with high visibility and impact, working across the company to research new types of fraud, develop products, and provide data‑driven insights for sales and marketing. This is a full‑stack data science role that involves model development, analysis, and production code.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain fraud‑detection models through the full modeling lifecycle—data acquisition, feature engineering, labeling, training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring.

Research new fraud types and engineer products around identity verification.

Build foundational modeling to drive SentiLink’s expanding suite of fraud and financial‑risk products.

Iterate on models and integrate new data sources and inventive feature engineering.

Write production‑ready code for real‑time decision making.

Design, perform, and present analyses that inform data acquisition, product development, risk‑operations priorities, marketing, and sales.

Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, and data‑acquisition teams to access data, maintain quality, and support access.

Requirements

4+ years of relevant work experience; Ph.D. or 6+ years of experience with a relevant Masters.

Proven track record solving complex, high‑profile business problems with data‑science or machine‑learning solutions.

Experience communicating outcomes and progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Strong end‑to‑end data‑science skills: planning, defining success criteria, buying‑in, developing, and delivering solutions.

Solid practical machine‑learning and statistical knowledge; familiarity with state‑of‑the‑art techniques is a plus.

Interest in developing deep domain expertise for product‑focused work; willingness to learn fraud domain.

Experience writing production code and tests.

Detail oriented and thoughtful, reliable for business‑changing decisions.

Bonus for familiarity with identity solutions, fintech, or adjacent industries.

Experience at a startup strongly preferred.

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with varied, high‑impact, open‑ended problems.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in the United States.

Salary Range

$180,000 / year – $230,000 / year + equity + benefits
