Job Description Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations, and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The NA Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest issuers in North America. We apply deep expertise in the banking, payments & analytics industry to deliver impactful results that help clients accelerate growth and improve profitability. The VCA team delivers a comprehensive range of services to address challenges in profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, and risk management.

VCA NA is seeking a Sr Manager to lead strategic initiatives that help Visa’s largest clients—including financial institutions, issuers, enablers, merchants, and fintechs—achieve sustainable and profitable growth. This role combines strategic planning, client engagement, and data‑driven insights to position Visa as a trusted advisor and preferred partner.

Responsibilities Strategic Engagement

Proactively engage with Account Executives and senior leadership to shape strategic priorities for major clients.

Participate in account planning and identify opportunities for Visa to add value beyond core products.

Build compelling narratives and executive‑level presentations that position VCA as a trusted advisor.

Solution Design

Identify consulting opportunities and support sales teams in embedding advisory services into client strategies.

Design frameworks and recommendations that address clients’ most critical challenges and growth objectives.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and global regions to deliver integrated solutions.

Insights & Analytics

Analyze Visa and industry data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.

Translate insights into actionable strategies and develop dashboards or models to support decision‑making.

Contribute to thought leadership and best practices that elevate Visa’s advisory capabilities.

We seek a self‑motivated, results‑driven individual with strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills. The ideal candidate can diagnose complex challenges, develop high‑impact solutions, and build enduring relationships across Visa and with clients. Experience in consulting or within a financial institution is required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence senior stakeholders.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to a Director within VCA.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 5 years with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 7 years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 years with a PhD.

Payments/Financial Services experience.

Strong Analytical/Quantitative Background.

Self‑motivated, results‑oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.

Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products, services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card issuing experience.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Team player.

Technology mindset, curious, up to date with digital trends and applications.

Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires travel 5–10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting. The incumbent will sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $130,600 to $223,100 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
