About the Role As an Account Manager, you will join our top performing Direct-to-Retail sales team, focusing on growth within the Natural & Drug channels. This role will focus on private label products & solutions for key accounts such as Trader Joe's, CVS, Whole Foods and others. You will work directly with these accounts to deliver on growth targets and meet day‑to‑day company and customer needs, while forging relationships with a broad range of retail partners and contacts.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with key contacts within all accounts, including Buyers, Category Managers, Sourcing, Product Development, and Manufacturing teams.
Collaborate with direct‑to‑retail and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth operation of all aspects of partner business.
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, and listen actively to learn.
Respond in a timely manner, deliver feedback appropriately, be transparent when appropriate, and respect partners and customers.
Apply strong business acumen and project management skills to secure and commercialise new business within key Kerry technologies.
Lead and execute key success factors to meet personal, team, and company goals, including pipeline, negotiation, closing, activation and retention.
Use data to identify areas of opportunity and drive overall business success.
Manage multiple customer partners with a high level of detail and organization.
Apply solution and situational selling skills to meet customer demands and needs.
Perform other related duties as assigned based on the needs of the customer and business.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Business, Communication, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in private label retail account management preferred.
Experience working with and influencing cross‑functional teams.
Track record of success in delivering against goals and targets.
Highly organized with attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Willingness and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
Availability to travel up to 50%.
Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $123,859 – $213,784 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay‑for‑performance company. The range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location. This position is also eligible to earn a performance‑based incentive compensation.
