The Company Our client is a nationwide clinical research site network, spanning Phase I–IV research studies and many therapeutic areas including oncology, neurology, cardiology, internal medicine, and more. They are fast growing and seeking to build out their FP&A team with this key role.
The Role As the FP&A Manager, you will directly support oncology clinical trial sites located in the LA area. This is a highly critical position, and gives you the opportunity to make a strong impact.
Overall financial support, single point of contact for VCT while ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management and our Private Equity partners.
Month‑end reporting, including streamlining models, reporting required by our Private Equity partners.
Assisting with the budget build for the organization including site budgets, corporate overhead, capital expenditure and add‑backs.
Assisting with the continued development of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting tool.
Support the Revenue Cycle team with revenue reporting by location and therapeutic area.
Own and improve the monthly cash flow reporting process.
Evaluation of partnership opportunities and management of metrics and analysis with partners.
Manage reporting on capital expenditure and add‑backs, including ROI analysis.
Model forecasted P&Ls for new site builds to be incorporated into the VCT network and other finance activities related to integrating these new sites.
Qualifications:
5+ years of FP&A experience within the clinical trials or biotech space.
Proficient in Excel including modeling.
Experience with NetSuite and Power BI.
Ability to make high‑impact decisions on a daily basis.
