About the Role Join our dynamic, fast paced FP&A team, partnering with the Product leadership team within the Audience Measurement division. This highly visible role drives financial performance, provides actionable insights into core business investments, and ensures fiscal discipline throughout the product lifecycle. The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Partner II supports planning, forecasting, and reporting for all operating and capital expenditures related to product development. Success requires collaborative, high-impact work with deep analytical rigor and understanding of product development economics and the broader media landscape. You will influence senior leaders to make data-driven decisions that fuel top-line growth and long-term valuation. Remote work is common, with onsite expectations in NYC for special projects or meetings as needed.
What You'll Do
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
Lead financial planning cycles (annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks) for the Product team, aligning with corporate objectives.
Cost & Profitability Analysis:
Continuously analyze product profitability and maintain a standardized allocation methodology for direct and indirect costs.
Investment Evaluation:
Evaluate new product initiatives and business cases (New Business Reviews), assessing investment impact, risk, and ROI/ROIC to inform go/no-go decisions.
CapEx Management:
Assess financial implications of significant CapEx investments, aligning with long-term revenue growth projections and affordability thresholds.
Executive Support:
Analyze and report on the financial structure and implications of strategic data and third-party partnerships; provide recommendations to executive leadership.
Business Partnership & Operational Excellence:
Serve as the primary financial liaison with product owners to structure scalable cost models, analyze investment trade-offs, and optimize resource deployment within the OpEx budget.
Financial Reporting to Leadership:
Present comprehensive financial performance packages to Senior Management and Executives, highlighting KPIs, risks, and opportunities.
Close & Compliance:
Oversee monthly close, perform variance analysis against plan/forecast, conduct trend analyses, and support Accounting with accruals and journal entries.
Process Improvement:
Champion FP&A best practices, driving efficiency, accuracy, and automation through systems and technology.
About You
Strategic & Analytical Acumen:
Strong business sense with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies for executives.

Drives process standardization, leveraging technology to enhance FP&A efficiency and cross-organization synergy.

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, timely results.

Effective communicator able to articulate financial concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
Detail Orientation & Urgency:
Meticulous attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive FP&A experience with significant time in Product Development, R&D, or Technology organizations.
Experience in Media, Ad-Tech, or Audience Measurement is preferred.
Strong financial modeling skills and ability to develop ROI/NPV analyses.
Deep knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and cost management.
Ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights and executive-level presentations.
Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills with experience presenting to Senior Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or EPM systems (e.g., Hyperion HFM, Planning, or SAP Analytics Cloud/SAC) is preferred. MBA or CFA is a plus.
