Accounting Analyst Work Type:

Overview The client is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Finance and Accounting professional to join our fast-growing technology company. The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting background along with practical experience using spreadsheet tools (such as Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis, financial reporting, and clear presentation of information.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close processes and related reporting.
Manage front-office payout setup, calculations, reviews, and distributions.
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies found in daily and monthly reconciliations.
Reconcile financial data across systems to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Lead and contribute to process improvements that boost efficiency and precision.
Take on new tasks and responsibilities as the role expands.
Help develop and maintain documented processes and procedures.
Work closely with development, compliance, risk, accounting, and management teams to refine reporting tools and operational workflows.
Support the establishment of strong internal controls and robust accounting practices.
Job Requirements
At least three years of experience working within an accounting or finance team.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Proficiency with enterprise-level accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve accounting issues effectively.
Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) for analysing, processing, and presenting financial and operational data.
