What Will You Do?
Processing daily data maintenance of the CISPro Chemical Management Database, including the Potential Peroxide Forming Material tracking system and data entry auditing
Supporting of CisPro system upgrade and documentation
Provide assistance for Chemical Management, Solvent Replenishment, and Life Safety Equipment Services
Assisting with laboratory compliance and safety inspections of laboratory spaces by detailing inspection findings/action items
Data entry and QA of the Safety/Compliance software platforms
Reviewing and comparing inspection reports for all life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eyewash and safety shower station, chemical spill kits, first aid kits, AEDs, and oxygen cylinders)
Performing field quality ‘spot checks’ for inspections of life safety equipment
Coordinating and scheduling Safety trainings
Involvement in Chemical Hygiene Safety Program
Other duties and projects as assigned to provide customer support
How Will You Get Here?
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related scientific field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering and/or five plus years related work experience preferred
Professional certification preferred but not required
Operational EHS experience in a large service-based company environment
Proven ability to interpret and implement requirements of CALOsha, OSHA, DOT, FAA, NFPA, NEC, RCRA, EPA, NRC, ADA, ANSI and ISO-14001 Certification
Familiarity with exposure levels to chemical and physical agents
Physical Requirements / Work Environment The role primarily involves working independently at customer sites, which may include areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline. Personal protective equipment, such as lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, and steel-toe shoes, is often required. The position requires regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs. Standing, walking, reaching, and bending are frequent activities, sometimes in varied temperature environments. Overtime work may also be necessary.

Compensation And Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $72,000.00–$95,000.00.
