The role of Retail Store Floor Lead at Vuori is to lead the retail sales team by example, forging connections with customers while communicating Vuori’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and a happy, optimistic outlook. Also, encouraging the team on how to maintain Vuori’s standards in retail sales and customer experiences. The Floor Lead is a key part of the store leadership team and as such supervises the retail floor and takes initiative, delegates work and is a “go to” person. Under the direction of the Store Manager, the floor lead position assists in any leadership duties that arise, thereby working directly with both the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
Responsibilities
Create an unforgettable customer experience by ensuring each customer receives the best experience possible.
Take ownership of the sales floor and sales team to prioritize customer experience.
Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback regarding merchandise style and fit.
Forge lasting relationships with customers by engaging about product details, new products, replenishment, and invitations to upcoming events.
Be knowledgeable on new and best‑selling items and share insights with customers and the team.
Lead the team on day‑to‑day operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent.
Motivate the sales team and achieve sales goals in a team‑based commission environment.
Seek new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape, specifically active‑wear, to serve as an expert for customers.
Lead the team in completing projects while maintaining focus on customer experience.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Work with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
Lead daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
Utilize responsibility, protocol, and safety standards in closing/opening the store.
Encourage employees to give 100% and adhere to punctuality and role responsibilities.
Qualifications
Available mornings and/or evenings, work 8‑hour shifts, 5 days/week, and at least one weekend day.
Excellent punctuality and attendance; adhere to scheduled shifts.
Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
Customer‑service expert who creates experiences and develops relationships, embraces social selling, and handles customer concerns positively and proactively.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Rapid learner of new procedures and processes.
Strong organizational and follow‑through skills.

Base Pay Range: $23–$25/hr
Team Commission: $3–$5/hr
Total Target Pay Range: $26–$30/hr
