Data QA Engineer Principal
to support data migrations, validation efforts, and analytics initiatives across SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and cloud platforms. This role ensures data accuracy, integrity, and quality during enterprise transformations.
Meaningful Work and Personal Impact
Performing data validation, reconciliation, and source‑to‑target comparisons for system cutovers and migrations
Developing and executing complex SQL queries, ETL scripts, and stored procedures
Conducting root cause analysis for data discrepancies and partnering with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Building and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouses, and validation frameworks
Developing interactive Power BI dashboards and KPI reports
Supporting integrations using REST APIs and ensuring compliance with data security standards
Collaborating with functional, development, and data engineering teams to improve data quality processes
What You’ll Need to Succeed Education:
MA/MS (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and/or Data Quality
Required Skills
Expert‑level SQL and experience with ETL/SSIS and data migration processes
Strong experience with Azure, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and on‑prem data gateways
Proficiency in Python, C#, and PowerShell for automation.
Ability to apply role‑based security to Power Apps applications
Experience with data modeling, data pipelines, and cloud data platforms (Azure)
Understanding of Active Directory, SAML, and role‑based security
Experience developing Power BI dashboards for QA and operational reporting
Required Certification
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP‑203). Other Azure and/or SQL certification(s) may be considered in lieu.
Security Clearance Level:
Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a position of public trust with federal client(s)

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
