Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion center position requiring BLS and chemotherapy certification.
Responsibilities
Work in a 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center
Provide intravenous treatments to a varied patient population, including oncology and bone marrow transplant cases
8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
No on-call responsibilities
13-week assignment
No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the winter assignment
Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being eligible as a traveler
First time travelers will be considered but must meet all requirements
Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO requests will be accepted after offer
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
Current BLS certification required
Chemotherapy certification required
Oncology and bone marrow transplant experience required
