Salary Range : $86,400 USD to $129,600 USD

Manages, coordinates, monitors, and provides oversight of all educational/ academic activities in the department, to include compliance of the various programs in accordance with accreditation bodies as appropriate (e.g. Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for the medical residency program). Takes the lead role in the form of trainee recruitment, appointment, credentialing, and enrollment as well as designs, implements, and evaluates recruitment plans. Coordinates the daily activities, staff functions, and budget issues. Sets goals and creates tactics to achieve program objectives. Hires and trains staff as needed. This person will exercise considerable discretion, perform complex decision making and critical thinking and the position requires working knowledge of institution policies, practices and procedures. The manager will work directly with Department Chair, faculty program directors, Administrator, and staff in other organizations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.) from four-year college or University with 4 years of experience program planning and coordinator experience
At least 2 years of supervisor experience, program planning and coordinator experience required
Accurate typing and data entry skills
Excellent organization and communication (oral and written) skills
High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and software used by the department
Benefits Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
