Mohave High School is accepting applications for the position of Head Varsity Football Coach for the 2026 season. We are seeking a leader who is committed to developing student-athletes in alignment with Mohave’s mission and values.

Position Summary
The Head Football Coach is responsible for providing leadership, organization, and direction for all aspects of the football program, including athlete development, supervision of coaching staff, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for student-athletes. Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
Oversee all phases of the football program. Hire, supervise and mentor assistant coaches. Uphold school athletic policies and ensure all staff meet required certifications. Athlete Development
Foster skill development, sportsmanship, character growth and academic support. Communicate effectively with players, parents and administration. Safety & Compliance
Ensure all players are properly cleared to participate. Maintain safe practice and game environments following AIA and school regulations. Program Operations
Organize and implement practice plans. Manage equipment, inventory, and facilities. Represent Mohave High School professionally with students, families, and the community. Qualifications
Arizona Teaching Certificate and NFHS Level 1 coaching certification NFHS Fundamentals of coaching and concussion certification Current First Aid and CPR Certification Ability to pass a background check and maintain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
