Withdrawal Management Unit Support Specialist – Chicago – Thorek Hospital We are hiring a Withdrawal Management Unit Support Specialist to serve as the primary front desk support for the Methodist MAT Program at Thorek Hospital. The role involves coordinating patient care, managing the lobby area, administering toxicology testing, and processing newly admitted patients.

Essential Duties

Serve as the primary front desk support for the Methodist MAT Program; answer phones and ensure all inquiries are routed appropriately.

Coordinate patient care with Methodist medical staff and Nurse Practitioners, facilitating communication on behalf of patients and ensuring completion of required documentation.

Greet visitors, manage the lobby area, and check clients into SAMMS.

Administer toxicology testing for clients as needed, ensuring appropriate tracking, storage, and chain of custody procedures.

Process all newly admitted patients from referring sources into Level 1, including scanning all documents daily.

Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Details

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

DCFS clearance required.

Required Experience A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or administrative support settings is preferred.
