Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant / Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity
We are looking for a
Nurse Practitioner ,
Physician Assistant , or a
Certified Nurse Midwife
to join our Kearny Mesa Health Center. You will deliver high‑quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling, and serve as a go‑to medical resource for our licensed and non‑licensed team members.
Position type: Full‑time (32 hrs/week) with a 4‑day schedule and every‑other Saturday. The role is in California and requires a current California license.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive reproductive health examinations and care.
Diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and offer counseling.
Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and management to improve patient care.
Communicate with a case‑management team regarding lab results, referrals, and patient follow‑up.
Perform IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, cryotherapy, Bartholin cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT.
Participate in a rigorous training and onboarding program similar to a fellowship.
Maintain evidence‑based protocols and clinical guidelines.
Support agency culture of engagement, growth, and professional success.
Pursue continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife.
Commitment to equity and belonging within the agency.

Compassionate patient care and staff support.
Willingness to provide coverage when needed.
Proficiency in English/Spanish (highly preferred).
Compensation: $62.51 – $79.46 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, educational assistance, access to 1:1 mental fitness/life coach, premium CALM account, and more.
