Requirements
Must have a Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems; other relevant degrees will be considered with adequate work experience.
7 years of experience in DevOps software development and infrastructure design.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Capable of designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure).
Experienced in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with security best practices (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
Knowledgeable in release management and deployment of microservices within a Kubernetes environment (AWS EKS, Azure AKS).
Strong understanding of Helm charts for deploying Docker-based microservices.
Familiar with logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
Strong passion for research, addressing complex challenges, and continually learning new technologies.
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication abilities.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance Helm charts for deploying Docker-based microservices.
Assist in release management and deployment of microservices in a Kubernetes setting (AWS EKS, Azure AKS).
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and automate incident response.
Collaborate with developers to enforce secure coding practices and conduct application security testing.
Deploy DevOps practices to streamline software engineering workflows across various projects.
Establish foundational processes that will significantly impact the success of the software team and organization.
Collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and key technologies.
Initiate agile development teams and oversee the establishment of DevOps pipelines in both on‑premises and cloud environments.
