Position Overview The CSG Project Manager is responsible for post‑order project execution and coordination across engineering, production, and customer‑facing teams. This role ensures timely delivery of engineering and production milestones, manages customer and vendor communications, and oversees order entry and invoicing processes. The CSG Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring project success from order acceptance through final delivery.

Reporting Relationship The CSG Technical Project Manager reports to the CSG Business Manager.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage post‑order project execution, ensuring on‑time engineering deliverables and production milestones.

Coordinate with Applications Engineers, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and Project Coordinators to align project documentation, drawings, and BOMs.

Work with the Integration Supervisor to evaluate the resource requirements for production as the division expands.

Maintain project schedules and communicate key milestones to all stakeholders.

Track purchased components, identify alternate suppliers or parts to avoid delays, and collaborate with vendors to expedite critical materials.

Interface with customers to provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues.

Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Enter and manage Customer Orders in IFS accurately and promptly.

Anticipate potential delays, implement contingency plans, and drive resolution of issues quickly.

Prepare and deliver submittal packages, including drawings and documentation for approval.

Track project costs and ensure alignment with budgeted margins.

Manage invoicing and milestone billing in accordance with contract terms.

Support freight coordination, damage claims, and collections as needed.

Complete project post‑mortem review documenting quoted labor hours vs actual and sending report to CSG Business Manager and VP Distribution Sales.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge

Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent projects on time and on budget.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Strong electrical background with understanding of AC and DC power.

Familiarity with UPS, standby DC systems, and Power Distribution Equipment.

Familiarity with Mechanical Components and specification attributes: NEMA Enclosures, HVAC units, IT Racking, etc.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with CRM and project management tools.

Preferred Certifications

PMP (Project Management Professional)

CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)

Other relevant project‑management certifications or training

Posting Qualifications

4 yr college degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred

3–5 years of related practical industry experience

Salary: $85000 – $95000 per year
