Who You Are
You bring at least 10 years of experience in appellate work
Hold a bachelor’s degree; JD is a strong plus
Deep knowledge of SCOTUS and federal/state appellate procedures
Exceptional Bluebook and cite checking expertise
Skilled in legal writing and research
Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, and CM/ECF
What You’ll Do
Draft, revise, and finalize appellate filings including briefs, motions, and petitions
Prepare oral argument materials such as binders
Compile appellate records and appendices from trial documents and transcripts
Format documents, proofread, apply Bluebook standards, and prepare tables
Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and court personnel
Conduct legal research on appellate rules and procedures
E-file with SCOTUS and federal/state appellate courts
Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules
Track appellate law developments for litigation teams
Submit timekeeping reports

You serve as a trusted resource for attorneys and litigation teams on appellate matters
Salary Range $115,000 – 140,000 annually, based on experience
