Staff Software Engineer - (Java, Golang, Microservices) - HYBRID

Base pay range:
$105,000.00/yr – $230,000.00/yr

Position Responsibilities
Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
Build product definition and drive towards the right solution
Engage in cross‑functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle
Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns
Utilize programming languages such as Python, C#, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure services
Mentor other engineers
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
Qualifications
Advanced programming experience with high‑performance distributed systems
Proven understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
Experience architecting and designing systems
Advanced DevOps knowledge, including Azure DevOps
Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
Advanced monitoring, security protocols, and continuous delivery skills
In‑depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms
Strong problem‑solving and fast‑paced environment adaptability
Knowledge of developer tooling across the SDLC
Architecture assessment and proposal experience
Experience
6+ years professional software development (C++, Java, Golang, etc.)
4+ years architecture and design experience
4+ years cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
2+ years open‑source framework experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Annual Salary $105,000.00 – $230,000.00
