About This Role
The Clinical Studio Manager (CSM) pierces and oversees the daily operations of our ear piercing studio, ensuring the highest level of customer service and a clean, safe environment.
Ideal candidates are strong Rowan Nurses with a passion for retail, a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, and an ability to drive sales and manage a team effectively.
Location: Victoria Gardens studio.
Key Responsibilities Piercing
Create magical and memorable customer experiences by combining top‑notch clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere.
Ensure customer safety, comfort, and a smooth flow of care.
Provide confident and professional communication throughout the piercing experience.
Educate customers on after‑care and promote Rowan's After Care.
Conduct thorough ear evaluations and offer personalized styling advice.
Maintain a sterile environment at the nurse station and procedure tray.
Apply skin‑care knowledge and infection‑control practices to deliver professional services.
Customer Experience
Greet and engage customers in a warm, celebratory atmosphere.
Lead by example on the selling floor, ensuring every customer enjoys a joyful experience.
Assist clients in choosing and styling earrings with Rowan jewelry.
Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
Keep the studio clean, welcoming, and safe.
Engage the local community to drive brand awareness and appointments.
Actively monitor customer experience and resolve issues promptly.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop studio staff, including Nurse Piercers and Sales Associates.
Hold team accountable for meeting studio targets and performance metrics.
Foster a positive, inclusive culture aligned with Rowan’s values.
Collaborate with the District Manager on scheduling and payroll accuracy.
Recruit for open studio positions.
Operations & Sales
Oversee inventory management and ensure policy and SOP compliance.
Meet or exceed sales targets, including average order value and revenue.
Drive profitability through optimized appointments and inventory sell‑through.
Maintain visual merchandising standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Keep the studio organized and reflective of brand image.
Keep piercing stations stocked with necessary supplies.
Sterilize jewelry and needles.
Training & Development
Mentor and train new nurses on clinical standards.
Onboard new staff, ensuring understanding of procedures and customer experience.
Provide ongoing training and developmental opportunities.
Administrative Duties
Prepare and submit performance reports.
Track studio budget, expenses, and financial targets.
Coordinate with corporate teams on marketing and product launches.
What You Offer
Active RN or LPN/LVN license.
3‑5 years retail management experience, preferably service‑oriented; jewelry experience is a plus.
Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
Customer‑obsessed, ability to lead on a selling floor.
Track record of driving sales and profitability.
Excellent customer service skills.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Thrives in fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
Comfortable with technology and POS systems.
Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficient in Google Suite.
Basic retail math and analytics.
Physical ability: lift up to 25 lb, stand for 8 h.
