Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is seeking a dedicated Staff Auditor to join their team. As a Staff Auditor, you will be an essential part of the auditing department supporting compliance and performance evaluations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Staff Auditor
Location: Washington, District Of Columbia
Pay Range: $21-24/hr
What's the Job?
Planning and executing compliance audits following applicable standards
Preparing comprehensive audit work papers, reports, and documentation
Communicating audit findings and results through written reports and oral presentations
Managing individual project workloads efficiently
Supporting continuous improvement in audit processes and standards
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Audit, Accounting, Finance, or Business
1–2 years of experience in accounting and auditing
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Familiarity with regulatory environments and telecommunications industry (desired)
