What You’ll Do

Set Sales Strategy – determine direction and scope for the sales force to compete successfully in the market, meet customer needs, gain advantage over competitors, and create or exploit new opportunities.

Execute Sales Strategy – implement sales strategy by selecting, training, motivating and supporting the sales force, setting revenue targets, forecasts, and plans, and using CRM and associated sales tools.

Sales Management – manage productivity, set expectations, monitor and evaluate performance, motivate and mentor associates, and develop the sales team.

Drive Solutions Sales – work with the Solutions Director and team to drive solution sales in digital, gear, lighting, tools and safety, prefab, mod‑shop, and other areas, securing our position as the electrical distributor of choice.

Achieve Financial Goals – continually monitor area financial activities to guide and direct others toward meeting objectives and priorities.

Administrative – carry out responsibilities related to reporting and analytics for sales performance and management.

Employee Development – encourage associates to acquire new or advanced skills, knowledge, and viewpoints by providing learning opportunities.

Performance Management – add value by promoting improved job performance of our Sales Associates.

Drive for Results – demonstrate dedication to achieving or surpassing results against internal or external standards of excellence.

Professionalism – think carefully about the effects of words, actions, appearance, and behavior, selecting those most likely to have the desired effect.

What You Bring

Experience in sales (electrical industry preferred).

Proven leadership with effective motivation, delegation, and vision communication to a sales team.

Ability to create and execute sales strategy and communicate effectively.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 2‑5 years’ experience in sales/sales management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong writing, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
