DevOps Engineer
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ
Job Type: Contract (On‑site)
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Manage Kubernetes clusters including maintenance, deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Configure and manage Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning.
Create and maintain Docker images and containers using best security practices.
Implement configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, and Puppet.
Monitor application performance, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure system reliability and availability.
Build and manage cloud infrastructure with AWS including EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Maintain change management documentation using ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira.
Required Skills
Strong experience in AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudTrail, Lambda).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, GitHub.
Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Chef, and Ansible.
Knowledge of Linux administration (CentOS, Ubuntu).
Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, Groovy, Ansible.
Knowledge of network protocols (DNS, HTTP/S, Load Balancers, TCP/IP).
Strong troubleshooting skills for AWS-related issues.
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise clients in Banking/Financial domains.
Exposure to global large‑scale enterprise environments.
Strong communication and client interaction skills.
Any cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer).
