Location: Southern East Coast near a major airport. Expect up to 90% overnight travel. Must be willing to travel to Ann Arbor, MI, Fremont, CA, and other locations.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers
Offer technical support to customers during issues
Coordinate workflow to minimize unnecessary travel; travel to customers by ground, train, and air as needed
Provide training to customers on essential use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments
Perform field service, calibration, installation of complex mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and field sterilizations
Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations and perform software updates/upgrades
Draft documentation of processes and procedures as required
Maintain accurate records and parts inventory
Prepare timely, accurate, and detailed service reports and customer‑facing estimates of repairs
Pass leads to the sales manager
Travel to training and conferences as needed
All other duties as assigned by management
Lift items up to 35 kg
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent military training certifications with 5+ years of field service experience
3+ years of field service experience in the Bio‑Pharmaceutical industry
Strong mechanical, electrical, and IT troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
